Welcome to the H&N auto-segmentation challenge 2010 website.
This competition is part of the workshop
Medical Image Analysis for the Clinic: a Grand Challenge, in conjunction with
MICCAI 2010 (in continuation of the MICCAI 2007, 2008, and 2009 workshops "3D Segmentation in the Clinic: a Grand Challenge").
The goal of this competition is to quantitatively compare fully automatic methods
for segmenting anatomical structures in head and neck CT data. This year, the participants are invited to apply their methods on segmentation of the parotid glands. The data for this challenge is provided by the
Princess Margaret Hospital, Toronto. It stems from a context of radiation therapy planning which
requires high delineation accuracy.
Registration is now open! If you want to join the competition, you can make sure you adhere to and agree with the rules, acknowledge the multiple deadlines, and register your team. The training data, i.e. with expert segmentation provided as ground truth, is now available. Once you have registered, we will contact you per email to explain you how and from where you can download the data and submit results. More (new) information is available in the About section. More will be in the answers to frequently asked questions.
